Green, that I love you green~

Ok, that title makes even less sense in english than it does in spanish...

Hello!

It didn't took me much time to update so yey for me. This time, together with some swatches, I'll post the design that I'm wearing right now (I should be posting the one I did for the Independance Day of my country, which we celebrated last month... I'll do that later).

Anyway, let's start with this, should we?

Kleancolor Swatches - Post #2

Hello!

At the end of last month I went shopping for a Nail Polish Thinner and couldn't help but get my hands on these polishes. The first time I saw Kleancolors Matte polishes I couldn't buy them but, despite the fact that I have a Matte Top Coat and can turn any polish or design into matte, I wanted to try them.

Without further ado, let's start with the swatches!

Kleancolor Swatches - Post #1

Hello, hello!

It took me forever to do this entry and it was because: A) I was procrastinating it and B) because my Photoshop (and every other Adobe program) decided to stop working so I didn't have a way to watermark and edit the pictures. I'm using the App "Line Camera" on my tablet and even if it isn't perfect, it's better than nothing (you should try it. It's really good for editing pictures).

Also, I wanted to do all the swatches first from this batch so that way I'll just do one post with the four polishes.

Ok, so let's start!

Shopping on Born Pretty Store - A Guide

As I promised, here I am making an entry about how to shop on that amazing page. It's not a complicated page whatsoever, but at first can be a little bit tricky to know what to do. I hope this guide will be clear enough to help you.

To be able to shop on BPS, the first thing you should do is creating an account on Paypal if you haven't done so before. It's really easy, but if you don't know how to do it or are confused, send me a message and I'll explain it to you step by step :)

Now, let's go to Bornprettystore's page and start creating our account. Click on "Login or Join Free".

You are going to see this page. If you already have an account, on the right side you'll find the login fields. Since we are creating a new account, under "New Costumer" on the left side, we click on "Continue".

Fill all the required fields and click on "Continue"

After your account is created, you can start shopping immediately.

To start, let's say that I want to buy a stamping plate. The ones which names start with an M, m-60 for example, are Konad copies. So if you are looking for a Konad plate, those are the ones you are looking for.

I recommend you to read the description of the items, especially of the plates, that way you'll know exactly what you are purchasing (I say this so you don't get surprised when you see that the designs on one particular plate are smaller than you thought so and don't cover your nails). Also, click on "Customer Reviews" and "Customer Images" for further references.

Now that we are sure that we want that plate, we can add it to cart clicking on the yellow botton, or add it to our Wish List clicking on "favorite".

That was easy, isn't it? Now comes the interesting part: Items with multiple options.

For this example, I'll be using this pretty colorful studs.

Rarely you'll find a product on the page that will offer you everything on the picture on the same package, so you need to pay attention to that to not get confused at the time you receive your purchases. Items with multiple options have the "Color" option, that way you'll choose which one you want. Most of the times the "colours" are numbers, marked on the picture for reference.

From this page I want the blue studs, for example, so in "Color" I choose the number 6. Since I want 2 of them, in "Quantity" I put a 2. Now comes the interesting part (everything is so interesting about this post lol).

You need to add every colour you want to the cart as if it were an separated item. Click "Add to cart" and then the pink pup-up that'll show click on "Continue shopping" to be able to choose the other colours you want. Check your cart once in a while to make sure your items are being added.

Sometimes, some items can come in packages, that way you don't have to keep adding item after item, especially when you want many of them. In this case you can choose a package of 6 striping tape, a package of 12 or the whole set of 30.

Now, this is how your cart should look like. You see the same item a few times but the colours are different.

You can buy everything on your cart or just a few items. Make sure to uncheck them all and then check the items you want to buy at the moment. When you are sure about what you want to buy, click "Checkout".

Don't put false or incorrect information on your "Shipping Address" or you wont be able to receive your items. You are going to be paying for something that you'll never receive if you do so. Make sure everything is correct and detailed.

Now, the most important part. If you have to use a courier to be able to shop online, I recommend you to choose "Airmail Paravion w/ Tracking #" for you to be able to receive your package at your home. It's going to cost you USD$3.00 but you are going to receive your items at home without any problems. I can attest to that.

After that, it's a matter of paying. You'll have to log into your Paypal account and accept the transaction.

It will take from 3-5 days for your package to sbe shipped. They are going to send you an e-mail confirming it and giving you your tracking code. Also, according to what they say on their page, this is the shipping time it will take for your purchases to arrive:

Shipping time is 7-20 business days to most of countries; please view below table for exactly shipping time to your location. If there is a little delay, please be patient. Actual time can only be estimated but not guaranteed.

  • 7-15 working days to: Most of Asia countries
  •
  • 10-16 working days to: USA , Canada , Australia , UK , Most of Europe countries
  •
  • 13-20 working days to: Germany , Russia
  •
  • 18-25 working days to: France , Italy , Spain , South Africa
  •
  • 20-45 working days to: Brazil , Most of South America countries

I live in the Dominican Republic and it took my purchases almost a whole month to arrive. And they said it would/may have a delay of 1-2 weeks due to the weather. But I received my package at home, without to paying extra money on a courier, which is amazing, so I didn't mind the time it took to arrive (I was more worried about if I would received them or not)

If you have any doubt, fell free to contact me, or if you prefer, send them a message to cs@bornprettystore.com.

Well, this is everything from my part. I hope this guide was helpful for you. Kisses and hugs from my part. Happy shopping!

Born Pretty Store - First Purchase and Review

Hello again. Let's put this blog into motion, should we?

Ok, so last Black Friday was a very special day to me because it was the first time I delved into buying on the internet... at least things for myself. I got lots of goodies of which I'm pretty excited to use and share with you.

Some of them were bought on Born Pretty Store, a shop I learned about through some videos of the amazing elleandish on Youtube. I was a little bit nervous about it because I live in Narnia, right in the middle of the Bermudas Triangle, and sometimes it's really difficult to get stuff here unless you are using a courier. But I decided to give it a try and see what would happen.

If you live in Santo Domingo and don't know how to buy from Born Pretty Store, I'll be making an entry explaining how to do it, from creating an account to moving around the page (it took me a little bit to get the hang of it the first time, tbh).

Anyway, this is my review of what I bought there. It's going to be photo heavy and probably too long given the fact that I talk to much, so you are warned.

Some old desings

To start the blog I'll post some old designs that I made in the past year. They are nothing too elaborated (nothing in this blog will be, unless it's related to stamping) so, sorry for that. This post will probably will be a good way to show how much I'll be improving.

Feel free to ask me how to made them. They are really easy to do and you don't need any special tools either. Some of them are inspired from other designs, I'll be linking them under the pictures.

Knock Knock!

Hi everyone, I'm Lizzy and this is supposed to be a nailart blog!

Since I'm sharing pictures of my nailarts, I decided that it would be a good idea to create a side blog amid the sea of blogs I run just to post my pictures and have them all organized. Also, this would be the place where I'll be posting the reviews of my purchases related to nailart.

So, hello again. I hope you find something you like here.
